Academic Games
2023 Academic Games Student Application
The Bishop Grimes Academic Games will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023. This is an annual event to celebrate students' gifts and talents. The Academic Games are offered to students attending area Catholic schools and several Faith Formation groups in grades K-6. The purpose of this event is:
* to develop self-esteem and dignity through excellence in academic/cultural achievement
* to interact and socialize with students from neighboring Catholic schools/churches
* to promote quality Catholic education
* to have FUN!
Academic Game events include: Math, Spelling, Essay, Art (Drawing/Painting), Music (Vocal/Instrumental), LEGO Robotics, Science, Oratory, and Religion. Test papers will not be returned. Please note some events require submission of works for judging prior to the date of the games. Contestants may participate in multiple events and must be accompanied by an adult throughout the day. Some events held in late morning have similar start times. Students participating in multiple events will be scheduled accordingly and made aware of room/time assignments at registration.
New this year, Bishop Grimes will partner with AT&T Pioneers to feed the hungry. You can help make this project more successful by bringing peanut butter and or jelly to the games! Please see the links below to register (one student per registration) and view Academic Game Information.
