VOCAL/GENERAL MUSIC

Bishop Grimes vocal/general music programs are fundamentally designed providing opportunities for our students to develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and aptitude in using music effectively.

The following vocal/general music classes and activities are offered at Bishop Grimes:

General Music:  Offered during the school day to 7th and 8th graders. Topics covered include elements of music, opera, musical theater, careers in music, iPad music applications, and a keyboard unit.

Concert Choir:  Offered during the school day. Counts as one music credit for students. Students perform in two concerts and various extra events throughout the school year.

Select Chorus:  Offered during select periods during the school day. This class gives select students the opportunity to perform more advanced repertoire.
