Bishop Grimes Parent Organization (BGPO)

A school is only as successful as its volunteers.  At Bishop Grimes, we welcome and encourage parents and alumni to donate their time to the school. It is through the efforts of our special volunteers that we are able to facilitate our fundraising events, offer mentoring support, and host events that revolve around our BG Community.

With each new year brings new families and alumni that are interested in volunteering at the school, but many are unsure as to how to get involved. 

The BGPO is an active group supporting all areas of the school, including the faculty, fundraising for scholarships, the arts and music programs and more! The BGPO helps plan and implement the school’s largest fundraiser, the annual Spring Dinner & Auction. Each year we try to think outside the box to come up with a fun theme to engage parents and alumni alike. We also help volunteer at various events throughout the year, including the annual Cobra Classic Golf Tournament, the musicals, concerts, and more! 

Please note that if you wish to volunteer, you will need to be trained and in compliance with the Syracuse Diocese VIRTUS requirements.
