HOW TO APPLY 

**BISHOP GRIMES WELCOMES PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS FOR THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR!** 

 

Step 1: Create Account and Submit Application CLICK HERE

Students interested in beginning the application process will apply through our online application. 

Step 2: Submit all Required Documents in Application Portal 

Examples: 

  • Last year’s report card and this year’s, to-date, report card.
  • Prospective 7th and 8th grade students are required to submit one letter of recommendation, while prospective 9th, and up, students are required to submit two letters of recommendation.
  • 504/IEP- Please submit documentation for any accommodations that are required with a 504/IEP plan.

Step 3: Candidate Interview

Once online application is completed interviews will be scheduled with the Admissions Committee

Step 4: Receive our Decision Letter

Please note that all offers of enrollment/acceptance are on a conditional/probationary basis pending review of final grade reports, behavior reports, and attendance records.

Step 5: Financial Aid and Tuition Assistance 

All candidates are encouraged to submit an application for financial aid. The financial aid application process is separate from the admissions' application. Bishop Grimes Junior/Senior High School, in partnership with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse, is committed to providing an outstanding and affordable education to all those interested in joining our community.  In accordance with this mission, Bishop Grimes and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse offered over $400,000 in tuition assistance to our families for the 2021-2022 school year alone.

The FACTS application is available beginning Nov 2020, and must be completed online by clicking here. Bishop Grimes’ Institution ID is 7845.  Applications must be completed no later than Feb 15, 2021 to be considered for any financial aid. 

YEAZEL CATHOLIC EDUCATION ENDOWMENT FUND. 
In addition to the FACTS Tuition Assistance application, we also encourage all of our Bishop Grimes families seeking tuition assistance to submit a separate application to the Yeazel Catholic Education Endowment Fund. The Yeazel Catholic Education Endowment Fund is a short additional application that families are able to fill out in order to apply to have Bishop Grimes receive additional tuition assistance for your child(ren). Click here to complete the Yeazel Catholic Education Endowment Fund application form. For more information about the Yeazel Catholic Education Endowment Fund, visit the fund’s website by clicking here. 

Please note that to be considered for any funds from the Yeazel Catholic Education Endowment Fund, a FACTS application MUST be submitted. The deadline for submitting an application to the Yeazel Catholic Education Endowment Fund is also February 15, 2021.

Step 6: Enroll Through FACTS

Once your student has been accepted, you will complete the enrollment process through your FACTS account.
