INTERNATIONAL Admissions

Bishop Grimes welcomes international students into our school community. An international applicant must have a strong academic record and English language proficiency that will permit him/her to perform satisfactorily in a college preparatory setting. Most international students that begin their education with Bishop Grimes meet the requirements for high school graduation and continue their studies at a college or university in the United States. Currently, Bishop Grimes has international students from many countries including Cambodia, China and Mexico.

Bishop Grimes also welcomes foreign exchange students into our school community. A foreign exchange applicant must have a strong academic record and English language proficiency that will permit him/her to perform satisfactorily in a college preparatory setting. Foreign exchange students spend a year within our school community and then return to their home country to graduate and/or continue their academic studies. Typically, foreign exchange students do not graduate from Bishop Grimes but are recognized and receive a certificate of attendance for the year spent studying with us. Bishop Grimes currently has foreign exchange students from The Netherlands and Ukraine.
